What can I expect from a shoot with you?

In every photograph I take, my intention is to capture aliveness. Not perfection. Not someone who is posed to death. That is so boring to me. If you want your photos to feel like true art, if you want to be captured in ALL of your human glory…I am the photographer for you. You may laugh or cry or smile or stand tall and feel powerful as hell or feel touched by a moment of grief.
Just like life, my shoots sometimes include all of the above.
What if I’m nervous in front of the camera?

A lot of people get super nervous in front of the camera…like this is SO COMMON. Hell, I’m a photographer myself and even I experience that still sometimes! This is why I direct my shoots like we’re shooting a short film. You do not need to know how to pose. I direct you the whole time. I invite you to get a little weird and a lot more alive. And afterwards you can expect to feel more connected to yourself…which is the entire point of art.
What should I wear?

I’m happy to help you choose what to wear!! You can send me options beforehand and I will guie you toward what will photograph best in my style.
What kind of shoots do you offer?

I photograph individuals, couples, artists, families, weddings, creative portraits, your dog, your lizard….
If you’re not sure where you fit, that’s ok! We can figure it out together.

No. You can come with a fully formed idea, or we can work it out together, or you can come with literally nothing at all.
Most of my work happens in the moment.

After the shoot you will receive a curated gallery of edited images within a couple of weeks. From there you can download, share, print…use them however you’d like!
